After you drop that income tax extension into the mailbox head on into one of these places and get your reward.   You might have to give a forearm shiver to the Tea Party demonstrators on your way in.   I think this should be something retailers do once a week.  And when they do we can add Freeday to the calendar, right before Friday.

Free Starbucks coffee
You can get your caffeine fix for free tomorrow — but only if you’re green. Starbucks will offer customers free brewed coffee if they bring a reusable mug. It’s part of the company’s “Big Picture” sustainability project.

Free Taco del Mar taco
“Taxes suck. Tacos don’t!” blasts the taco chain. Taco del Mar will give you a free tax day taco if you hand over your e-mail address and print out the coupon they’ll send you. Marketing ploy? You bet. But you can opt-out of their e-mail list.

15 percent off Babeland sex toys
The sex shop’s deals aren’t as good as last year’s, when the Seattle-based store gave away vibrators to the first 100 people to say they’d filed their taxes. Still: On tax day, Babeland customers get 15 percent off merchandise in stores and online. Oh, and they’ll throw in a free $15 vibrator with a $75 purchase.

McCormick and Schmick’s discount
This Portland-based restaurant thinks ahead. McCormick and Schmick’s is treating customers to $10.40 dinner and drink specials at the bar on Tax Day — and handing over a $10.40 certificate for a future meal. Here’s a bonus: tax preparers (those poor dears) get a complimentary dessert with the purchase of an entree on April 16.

Free Cinnabon cupcake bites
Visit a mall-based Cinnabon store between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday, and you’ll get two free bite-sized cupcakes. If you want to do more work, enter the chain’s essay contest to be eligible to win a $100 gift card.

P.F. Chang’s discount
This one’s easy: eat at the Arizona-based Chinese bistro and P.F. Chang’s will take 15 percent off your bill.

The fast-food joint will give away a small bag of fries per customer. No forms to fill out, no coupon to print. It’s Free Fryday.
